Mary Ellen Yarossi is currently the Regional Director, Europe for IPA. In this role, she oversees IPA’s European operations, which include offices in the United Kingdom and The Hague and serves clients from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Russia.
Prior to taking this position, Mary Ellen was the founding Director of the IPA Institute, the company’s research and education division, for the past 4 years. She joined IPA in 1989 and has served as Manager for the Chemicals business area and then Chief Operating Officer. Mary Ellen has also been a member of the IPA Board of Directors since 1998. She is widely published in the area of Best Practices for process industry ventures.
Mary Ellen joined IPA after 10 years of varied industrial experience, including manufacturing management, R&D, planning and inventory control, quality assurance, and process engineering.
Mary Ellen holds an MBA from New York University and a Bachelor of Science (Chemical Engineering) from Columbia University.
