Patricia Velasquez Griffith is currently the Vice President, New Ventures for IPA. In this role, she oversees the development of new areas of work for IPA and work in new regions of the world. Further, she supports IPA’s Regional Directors around the world in expanding the reach and breadth of IPA products and services to the Extraction and Process Industries.
Patricia joined IPA in 1997 after working for 7 years as a construction manager in her native El Salvador and Texas, USA. At IPA, she served as manager of IPA’s Plant-Based Systems business area before transferring to The Hague in mid-2004 to become Regional Director, EMEA. While in Europe, Patricia led the development of IPA’s work in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Russia. She was named Vice President, New Ventures in January 2009.
Since joining IPA in 1997, Patricia has led a number of research studies for the plant-based sector and has conducted a large number of benchmarking studies and individual project evaluations for a wide range of industries and clients. In addition, she managed both the technical development and marketing of IPA’s site benchmarking studies. Patricia has also served as the manager of the Industry Benchmarking Consortium and as a business manager for the Refining Industry Sector.
Before joining IPA, Patricia worked for more than 10 years in project management for a variety of projects in the United States and overseas. Patricia holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration.
