Title: Regional Director of North America
 
IPA Experience:  Joined IPA in 1993.
 
Elizabeth Sanborn currently serves as IPA’s Regional Director, North America. In this role, she oversees IPA’s North American operations, which serves clients in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. She is based in Ashburn, Virginia, USA.

Prior to becoming Regional Director, Elizabeth served as Quality Manager at IPA for 10 years. In this role, she applied IPA’s methodology and approach to project system evaluations in-house. She was responsible for the development and governance of corporate work processes; monitoring client feedback; providing regular quality metrics and key performance indicators to IPA managers and staff; identifying deviations and needs for change and improvement; and supporting the development of new products and services. She also serves on IPA’s Review Board.

Before becoming Quality Manager, Elizabeth was the Manager of the Chemicals Business Area. She joined IPA in 1993 as a Project Analyst and, during this time, Elizabeth led original benchmarking studies for Dow, Amoco, Rohm and Haas, and Arco Chemical. She has led several other research studies on topics such as indirect costs, cost/schedule trade-offs, and market timing for commodities.

Elizabeth holds a BA degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and an MPPM from Yale University.
