Independent Project Analysis (IPA) has announced that its next China Project Management Forum (CPMF) meeting will take place on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Landmark Hotel in Beijing (8 North Dongsanhuan Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing 100004, China). The CPMF provides owner-company project management professionals with the opportunity to network and share ideas, practices, and solutions relating to project system effectiveness in China. The theme of the March meeting is "Project Management Issues Faced when Conducting Projects in China" and topics to be covered include:
- Procurement in China: For China Projects and Global Projects
- Team Structure that Delivers Best Value in China
- Managing Engineering Quality from Chinese Design Institute
- IPA's Ongoing Research Initiatives and IPA Institute training in China
The CPMF was launched in 2007 and holds two meetings every year, which are organized and facilitated by IPA. Additionally, this forum is affiliated with similar project management forums in Australia, Singapore, and South Africa, allowing members of any of these forums to attend the meetings of another.
