IPA will launch a new offline version of its FEL Toolbox software on April 5, 2010, which will allow project teams to complete worksheets without being connected to the internet.
Since its debut in 2006, FEL Toolbox, IPA’s copyrighted software for Front-End Loading (FEL) of capital projects that are estimated to cost less than $10 million, has been web enabled, requiring project teams to maintain a connection to the internet. The offline version allows project teams to complete the worksheets disconnected from the web, making the process easier and faster, especially in locations where the internet is underdeveloped. However, the content of the software will not change.
