IPA’s unique niche in the management consulting industry often results in clients asking for advice. These requests are based on the understanding that IPA’s advice will be accompanied by data―it is not simply an opinion. Some examples of advisory services provided in the past include the following:

• EPC Market Forecasting: A client once asked if we could use our database to forecast the market. With client oversight and validation of the methods, we developed forecasting models for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) industry. Based on this initial service, we now provide a quarterly EPC Market Forecasting Newsletter on a subscription basis that covers 10 regions with price forecasts 5 years into the future.
• Litigation Support: IPA is often requested to provide expert witness or litigation support regarding capital project issues. This includes disputes between owners and contractors; owners and governments; and union versus non-union disagreements. Our credibility is based in our independence and our data.
