IPA has recently added the capability to evaluate turnarounds of offshore facilities and has developed three new products to meet our clients’ needs in this area. These products reflect IPA’s knowledge of Best Practices and its benchmarking technology, drawing from its experience evaluating onshore turnarounds and offshore projects to create new tools that directly address offshore turnaround issues and characteristics. In an environment in which prices for products are down but demand continues to be robust, shutting down facilities as economically as possible and keeping turnaround durations as short as possible are key factors affecting a company’s financial health.
