The IPA Turnaround database consists of more than 350 turnarounds conducted by more than 45 companies from all over the world. Each turnaround in the database is characterized by more than 2,000 variables that describe in detail the turnaround’s planning, execution, and process performance. The database represents a total of $2.5 billion in total turnaround costs. We have used the turnaround data to conduct statistical analyses that link turnaround practices to Best turnaround performance outcomes.
