Graham Cattell

Retired Head of Discipline for Capability and Projects - BP

Graham Cattell of Dorset, England, United Kingdom, rejoined IPA’s Board of Directors in 2016. He previously served on the board from 2011-2013.

Prior to his retirement in December 2010, Graham served as the Head of Discipline for Capability and Projects at BP. Before joining BP, Graham served as Director of Design and Construction at The Dow Chemical Company and earlier as Vice President of Engineering at the Union Carbide Corporation, during which time he was involved in the merging of Dow and Union Carbide’s engineering capability. Earlier in his career, he was Vice President and General Manager of Engineering for the Industrial Gases and Equipment Group of Air Products & Chemicals, Inc.

Graham earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brighton University.   During his career, Graham built projects in over 30 countries, enjoying the challenge of working in many different cultures and learning the value of local expertise.
