Rob Young

Rob Young is Regional Director of Asia Pacific. In this role, he is responsible for IPA's Asia Pacific operations and oversees IPA’s offices in Melbourne, Australia; Jurong East, Singapore; and Beijing, China. He has several areas of expertise, including innovative solids-processing projects, pulp and paper projects, plant-based systems, team functionality, and facilitating workshops.

Before joining IPA in 1997, Rob worked in the pulp and paper industry for 23 years in a number of different positions, including project manager, engineering manager, and manager of a pulp mill.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Tasmania, Tasmania, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Managers.
