Course Description

Setting attainable cost and schedule targets is an important consideration in making capital investment decisions. Most organizations have more opportunities than they have funds to invest. This virtual training course shares Best Practices for setting accurate and reliable cost and schedule targets for capital projects, based on years of quantitative research conducted by Independent Project Analysis (IPA). Project professionals emerge from the course with an understanding of how these key practices can be implemented to improve the way their organizations plan and execute capital projects. This virtual training course provides participants with a set of gatekeeping practices and tools that help improve project effectiveness, as identified through IPA research. Participants will learn why these practices are important and how to implement them effectively in capital projects.
