James Russo

Jim Russo of Reston, Virginia, and Annapolis, Maryland, USA, has served on IPA’s Board of Directors since 2008. He was elected Chairman of the Audit Committee in 2014.

He has over 35 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer and providing CFO consulting services in rapidly growing and turnaround companies, primarily in the consulting, engineering, biotechnology, governmental contracting, internet services, systems software, and banking industries. He has successfully taken large and small companies in the private sector and public reporting companies to the NYSE and NASDAQ. Jim is adept at building highly motivated successful financial teams, and has completed multiple financial transactions, including early stage funding, bank loans, leasing, product licensing, venture capital transactions, mezzanine debt, initial public offerings, and secondary public offerings. He also has significant international operating experience and has completed more than 25 merger transactions with post-merger integration responsibility.

Jim has also served on a number of private and public company boards.
