JOB SUMMARY
The UX/UI Designer will work with the UX team, design team, product owners, and developers to produce innovative designs for new and existing enterprise applications and features. This role traverses all UX and UI design disciplines, including user journey mapping, mind mapping and discovery, lexicon definition and content writing, usability testing and user research, UI layout and visual design, prototyping, and specification deliverables.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce high-quality UX design solutions via user journey maps, wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
- Effectively communicate ideas and justification to support design approach
- Test UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and landing pages
- Refine and maintain design component libraries
- Support usability testing initiatives (communication, conducting user interviews, collation of collected data) by providing advice and guidance on UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze/predict user behavior
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to develop and conceptualize comprehensive UX/UI design strategy for the brand
- Proven ability and competency in creating UI design concepts, prototypes, and specifications
- Understanding of design systems, component libraries, and design tokens
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
REQUIREMENTS
- A portfolio of professional UX/UI design work for both web and mobile platforms
- In-depth knowledge of Figma/FigJam design systems and familiarity with Trello
- Initiator and team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience with UI content writing and lexicon definition is preferred
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE
Four years’ experience with design or academic equivalent is required. Entry-level/recent graduates will be considered.
