As IPA President, Mishra will oversee all aspects of the company’s global business operations and work closely with IPA leadership and the Board of Directors to implement the corporate strategy. He will also continue to serve on the IPA Board of Directors, a role he has held since 2022. Mishra previously served as IPA’s Director of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) from 2017 to 2024. In that role, he oversaw IPA’s business operations within the region while leading and developing a team of project analysts, researchers, and support staff based in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Manasvi Mehta will take on Mishra’s former role as Director of EMEA from May 1.

“I have every confidence in Nekkhil to lead IPA forward and to achieve the long-term goals we have established, and more,” said IPA CEO Ed Merrow. “This change will allow me to focus my time on projects research, which has always been my passion, while having the leadership of IPA in great hands.”

Mishra joined IPA in 2007 as a Project Analyst specializing in oil and gas projects. He progressed through the ranks to Senior Project Analyst and was a transformative Client Engagement Leader for many years. In 2015, he transitioned to the role of Deputy Director of IPA’s Exploration & Production (E&P) business area before being appointed Regional Director of EMEA in 2017. Mishra has led hundreds of project assurance reviews for clients in more than 30 countries throughout his career. He frequently delivers industry conference presentations and facilitates training courses and workshops for project teams.
