Luke Wallace

As Chief Technology Officer, Luke Wallace continues to lead IPA’s research division, which is the nexus of IPA’s analytical tools development and ground-breaking research on what generates successful capital projects. IPA’s Project Research Division (PRD) is the largest single group of research professionals in the world focused solely on project improvement.

Luke joined IPA in 2005 as a Research Analyst and later became a Research Team Leader for IPA’s Oil and Gas Practice. Luke has also served as a Senior Consultant, studying the project control practices that lead to capital project success and failure, while concurrently overseeing the selection, implementation, and performance evaluation of machine learning algorithms used to predict project outcomes, as a Statistical Reviewer. Luke has also held the position of Deputy Director of Research and Manager of Cost Engineering, in which he managed the development of products, research, and tailored solutions. He also spent four years as a Director of IPA’s Capital Solutions division, focusing on digitalization and helping owner companies better integrate and leverage project data to improve project risk forecasting.

Outside of IPA, Luke previously was a Manager of Litigation Analytics for a specialized consulting and data analytics firm.

Luke has a B.S. in International Business and a B.A. in French from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island.
